Students and staff at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and the staff at Odense University Hospital (OUH) have remote access to the library’s licensed electronic material. You can gain access via a username and password wherever you happen to be.
Please note: Remote access to electronic material at the University Library of Southern Denmark is only for personal research and study use. This means that you are not allowed to use remote access in connection with a study job, work placement, etc.
Your password is strictly personal and must never be given to anyone else.
Misuse will result in disciplinary sanctions.
Other users have to be either at SDU or OUH in order to gain access to the material.
If you try to gain access to licensed material from a computer ouside SDU’s or OUH’s net you will be asked for a user name and a password:
- Students and employees at SDU: Login with your SDU user name and password.
Your username is the first part of your official SDU e-mail address (before the @). Your password has been handed out to you (and you have the option to change it in SDU’s system). If you do not know your official mail address, you can find it using your student card in SDU’s account system.
- Employees at OUH: Your user name is the number on your library card (for Videncentret and the University Library of Southern Denmark). Your password is typically the first six digits of your CPR number unless you have changed it. If your password contains letters, these should be capitalized.
If you have no library card (or if it has not been used for several years), you need to contact one of the library’s departments.
